Bridging the digital gender divide for girls

Girls and women in developing countries struggle to get technology and internet access. In addition, patterns of socialization, stereotypes about technology being 'for boys' and fear of discrimination can prevent girls from using digital tools.
In this project, we are targeting three interrelated factors to effectively impact the reduction of the digital divide between men and women in the DRC: access, digital culture and online security.
Popularizing the use of ICT, with a gender perspective, is the keystone for the jobs and opportunities of tomorrow.
